'You are your own master, you make your own future' — Siddharta Gotama — The Buddha

A strong sense of ego or personal identity is a characteristic of the Level of Power and it can initially help you go to the more selfless states. Your profile here examines three key aspects of your ego or self-image which reflect on how well you view and regard yourself, and this is likely to affect what you do and therefore the experiences you have.

There are three key elements of self-image1: Self-Confidence (your trust in your own abilities and judgement), Self-Esteem (your sense of your own worth as a person) and Self-Respect (your pride in yourself).
